Ibrutinib in Patients with Relapsed or Refractory Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma: A Retrospective Study

Background:

• Relapsed or refractory diffuse large B cell lymphoma (RR DLBCL) has limited treatment options.
• Ibrutinib, a Bruton Tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitor, has shown potential but requires further investigation in RR DLBCL.

Purpose of the Study:

• To retrospectively investigate the safety and efficacy of Ibrutinib in patients with RR DLBCL.
• To compare the outcomes of Ibrutinib monotherapy versus combination therapy.

Main Methods:

• Retrospective review of medical records for 40 RR DLBCL patients treated with Ibrutinib (alone or in combination) from June 2018 to August 2020.
• Analysis of objective response rate (ORR), progression-free survival (PFS), overall survival (OS), and adverse events.

• Combined treatment with Ibrutinib and other drugs is more effective than Ibrutinib monotherapy for RR DLBCL.
