Ventricular features as reliable differentiators between bvFTD and other dementias

An automated tool using lateral ventricle features, particularly the antero-posterior ratio (APR), can improve the diagnosis of behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD). This method achieved 80% accuracy in differentiating bvFTD from other neurodegenerative diseases.
