Cannabinoid use is enhanced by stress and changes conditioned stress responses

Cannabis use in rats with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) altered responses to stress cues. This study found that delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol plus cannabidiol (THC+CBD) changed how rats reacted to stress, potentially worsening PTSD-related stress responses.
