Summary

Intracaesarian myomectomy is presented as a safe treatment alternative. This case study shows a successful myomectomy during a caesarean section with no postoperative complications.

Background:

Uterine fibroids (myomas) are common, often requiring surgical intervention.
Myomectomy, the surgical removal of fibroids, is a standard procedure.
Simultaneous myomectomy during caesarean delivery is an evolving surgical consideration.

Observation:

A case of a subserosal myoma on the left uterine wall is detailed.
The myomectomy was performed during a caesarean section at 38+1 weeks' gestation.
The surgical procedure was completed without intraoperative complications.

Findings:

The patient experienced an uncomplicated postoperative recovery.
Intracaesarean myomectomy demonstrated a favorable clinical outcome in this case.
This procedure offers a potential solution for managing uterine fibroids in pregnant patients.

Implications:

Intracaesarean myomectomy may be a viable option for selected patients.
This approach could potentially reduce the need for future surgeries.
Further research is warranted to establish the safety and efficacy of this technique.
