The impacts of learning analytics and A/B testing research: a case study in differential scientometrics

A/B testing research on online learning platforms had a greater impact on future scientific discourse than learning analytics (LA) research, despite LA having more citations. This study introduces a new method for analyzing research impact in online STEM education.
