Solid bolus swallows during high-resolution manometry complement multiple rapid swallows in predicting symptoms

Solid bolus swallows (SBS) and multiple rapid swallows (MRS) assess esophageal contraction reserve. Both methods are complementary in predicting post-surgery symptom burden, especially in patients with esophageal hypomotility.
