Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) can be enhanced using a new Stacking Enhancement Filter to improve imaging quality for diagnosing juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). This technique offers a promising alternative to MRI for TMJ arthritis analysis.
