Monoclonal gammopathy of renal significance (MGRS) affects 38% of patients with monoclonal gammopathy and kidney disease. Monoclonal Ig amyloidosis is the leading MGRS cause, associated with abnormal free light chain ratio, older age, and proteinuria.
