Fatal Pediatric Streptococcal Infection: A Clinico-Pathological Study

Fatal streptococcal infections (SI) in children are often caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae or Streptococcus pyogenes. These infections present with prodromal symptoms and a rapid clinical course, frequently leading to sepsis.
