Cognitive function in diabetic persons with peripheral neuropathy: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Peripheral diabetic neuropathy (DPN) is linked to cognitive impairment in individuals with type 1 and type 2 diabetes mellitus. This systematic review highlights significant impacts on memory, attention, and psychomotor speed in diabetic patients with DPN.
