Background:

  • Deliberative dialogues (DDs) are valuable for knowledge exchange in policy and healthcare but often exclude patient and public perspectives.
  • A 2019 DD aimed to enhance the social environment and reduce isolation in urban housing, involving tenants and service providers.
  • This study examined the impact of including community tenants in a DD and adapted the traditional model for better accessibility.
