Eisenmenger syndrome with left main compression syndrome: a case report

- A 37-year-old man with Eisenmenger syndrome presented with exertional angina.
- Cardiac CT revealed left main coronary artery compression due to a dilated pulmonary artery.
- The patient underwent successful IVUS-guided stent implantation in the left main coronary artery.
Findings:
- Successful stenting relieved angina symptoms and improved the patient's quality of life.
- Coronary angiography at 3 months showed good stent patency without restenosis.
- Left main coronary artery stenting is an effective emergent treatment for this condition.
Implications:
- Left main coronary artery compression should be suspected in Eisenmenger syndrome patients with angina.
- Early diagnosis via non-invasive imaging and coronary angiography is crucial.
- Stenting provides an ideal emergent treatment option, improving patient outcomes and quality of life.
