Study on the Relationship between lncRNA Gene Polymorphism and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

This study found altered expression of specific long-chain noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients. Lnc0640 was overexpressed, while lnc3643 showed decreased levels and correlated with disease activity and symptoms.

Conclusions:
- lnc0640 is overexpressed in SLE PBMCs.
- lnc3643 expression is decreased in SLE and associated with disease activity and specific clinical symptoms like arthritis, rash, and pleuritis.
