Summary

Tensor-valued diffusion encoding reveals distinct microstructural differences in invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) compared to normal breast tissue. Microscopic fractional anisotropy (µFA) shows promise as a non-invasive biomarker for breast cancer assessment.
