  • Asymptomatic, late, in-stent thrombosis was detected during routine surveillance imaging.
  • The patient remained asymptomatic despite the presence of the thrombus.

Findings:

  • Anticoagulant therapy was initiated for the detected in-stent thrombus.
  • Successful resolution of the thrombus was achieved with anticoagulant treatment.
  • This case highlights anticoagulant therapy as a viable option for asymptomatic aortic stent graft-associated thrombus.

Implications:

  • Conservative management with anticoagulation can be effective for asymptomatic late in-stent thrombosis.
  • Surgical intervention remains a consideration for symptomatic or complicated cases, including thromboembolism or hemodynamic compromise.
  • This finding contributes to the understanding of managing late complications after aortic stenting.
