Abstract:
Human T cell clones specific of, or restricted by, HLA molecules allow the definition of HLA molecule polymorphism. The advantages of this technical approach are: the definition of a functional polymorphism on the one hand, and the monospecificity of this definition of the other hand. Therefore human T cell clones are unique tools for defining functional epitopes borne by HLA molecules and playing a role in disease associated with HLA.
