Abstract
Case:
We present a case report of an elderly patient with a displaced lateral compression type II pelvic ring injury and describe a novel technique for maintaining a percutaneously obtained reduction during percutaneous fixation using a supra-acetabular Schantz pin attached to a mechanical limb positioner.
Conclusion:
The mechanical limb positioner used allows the surgeon to hold a multidirectionally obtained reduction of the hemipelvis with ease.
