Type 2 diabetes and the clinically normal pulp: An in vitro study.

Type 2 diabetes (T2D) alters clinically normal dental pulp, causing reduced cellularity and increased calcification. This condition also affects immune markers, with higher expression of inflammatory cytokines and innate inflammation markers in T2D patients.
