Changes in halitosis value before and after Helicobacter pylori eradication: A single-institutional prospective study

Helicobacter pylori eradication therapy significantly improves halitosis, with objective breath measurements showing lasting positive effects. This improvement in bad breath can be sustained for over two years post-treatment.

- H. pylori eradication therapy can objectively improve halitosis.
- The positive effects on halitosis are sustainable for at least two years after successful eradication.
