Do Inflammatory Cytokines Affect Patient Outcomes After ACDF?

Serum inflammatory mediators showed minimal correlation with patient outcomes after anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF). Preoperative cytokine levels do not reliably predict clinical improvement following ACDF surgery.
