  • A 35-year-old woman presented with progressive lower limb weakness and sensory loss.
  • MRI revealed an intramedullary spinal cord lesion in the thoracolumbar region.

Findings:

  • Histopathological and immunohistochemical analysis confirmed the lesion as gliosarcoma.
  • This case adds to the limited literature on primary spinal gliosarcoma.

Implications:

  • This case reinforces primary spinal gliosarcoma as a distinct clinical entity.
  • Clinicians should consider spinal gliosarcoma in the differential diagnosis of intramedullary spinal cord tumors.
