[Current status of surgical treatment for neuroendocrine liver metastases]

Surgical resection is the optimal choice to achieve a better long-term survival for patients with neuroendocrine liver metastases(NELM). With the deeper understanding of neuroendocrine neoplasms and the establishment of a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment system, the concept of surgery for NELM is continually being updated. This article shares our experience and clinical practice of surgical resection for patients with NELM, and makes a brief review about the current status and controversy of surgical resection with NELM.
