Summary

Self-expandable (SE) transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) devices show better hemodynamic performance in patients with small aortic annuli compared to balloon-expandable (BE) devices, despite higher paravalvular leak rates. SE TAVR may be preferred for small aortic anatomies.
