An External Patient Healthcare Index (EPHI) for Simulating Spatial Tendencies in Healthcare Seeking Behavior

Patients in China often travel from less developed to more developed regions for healthcare, leading to resource misallocation. This study introduces a new index to identify and address these spatial healthcare seeking behaviors for better resource distribution.
