DOES COVID-19 CAUSE PANCREATITIS?

COVID-19 patients developed acute pancreatitis at a rate of 0.1%. Idiopathic pancreatitis was significantly more common in these patients compared to non-COVID-19 patients, suggesting SARS-CoV-2 may cause pancreatitis.
