PEEK versus titanium-coated PEEK cervical cages: fusion rate

Polyetheretherketone (PEEK) cages showed significantly higher rates of complete fusion after 12 months compared to titanium-coated PEEK cages in anterior cervical discectomy and fusion surgery. This finding aids in optimizing implant selection for degenerative cervical disease.
