This study suggests immune-complexes activate the classical complement pathway in myeloperoxidase-ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis (MPO-AAGN). High-affinity antibodies and elevated C5a/C5b-9 indicate classical pathway involvement in MPO-AAGN pathogenesis.
