Abstract:
A facile strategy to encapsulate R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) proteins and CdSe S1- /ZnS quantum dots (QDs) in ZIF-8 thin films is developed through a one-pot solid-confinement conversion process. The resultant R-PE/CdSe S1- /ZnS@ZIF-8 thin film exhibits high-quality white light emission and good thermal stability up to 80 °C.
