NF-κB regulates brown adipocyte function through suppression of ANT2

Nuclear factor-kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB) protects brown adipocytes from apoptosis. Increased NF-κB activity during differentiation and cold exposure, via p65 phosphorylation, enhances brown fat function and cold tolerance.
