    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the performance of the AutoMicrobic system's Entero Pathogen Screen card for identifying Salmonella, Shigella, or Yersinia species.

    • 800 bacterial colonies from stool samples were tested using both conventional biochemical media and the AutoMicrobic Entero Pathogen Screen cards.

    • This automated method significantly reduces turnaround time for identifying key enteric pathogens.
