    Summary

    Cadmium Silicon Phosphide (CdSiP2) crystals efficiently generate tunable terahertz (THz) radiation. This study demonstrates their potential for broadband THz applications using difference frequency generation.

  • Generation of THz radiation via difference frequency generation (DFG) using a nanosecond Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and an optical parametric oscillator (OPO).

    • Achieved output power of 26.6 mW at 0.74 THz.
