Summary

Biodegradable polymer drug-eluting stents (BP-DES) show long-term benefits over durable polymer DES (DP-DES), significantly reducing death and myocardial infarction risks at five years post-procedure. This study highlights BP-DES as a potentially safer option for patients undergoing coronary interventions.
