Autotransfusion in low-resource settings: a scoping review

Basic autotransfusion (AT) is used for obstetric and trauma bleeding in low-resource settings (LRS), but its use is undocumented and not widespread. Further research is needed to assess safety, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness of new AT devices for LRS.
