TECRL deficiency results in aberrant mitochondrial function in cardiomyocytes

TECRL protein deficiency worsens cardiac dysfunction and impairs mitochondrial respiration, leading to sudden cardiac death. Restoring TECRL function may offer a therapeutic strategy for catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia.
