Comparative pathogenesis of turkey reoviruses

Turkey reoviruses, including turkey enteric reovirus (TERV), turkey arthritis reovirus (TARV), and turkey hepatitis reovirus (THRV), cause significant economic losses. This study compares their pathogenesis, finding all are enterotropic and impact weight gain, with TARV and THRV causing tenosynovitis, and THRV inducing hepatitis.
