Background:

Urban integration is crucial for migrant workers' well-being and societal contribution.
Understanding group differences in urban integration is key to developing effective support policies.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate group differences in urban integration among migrant workers.
To identify individual and migration characteristics influencing urban integration.
To provide data for improved government assistance policies.

Main Methods:

Multilevel comprehensive evaluation and Entropy method for assessing urban integration levels.
One-way ANOVA and optimal scaling regression to test for group differences.
Analysis based on questionnaire data from 854 migrant workers in China.

Main Results:

Overall urban integration level is 49.61%, with significant group variations.
Positive correlations found between urban integration and education, income, and migration duration.
Negative correlation found between urban integration and migration distance.
Migrant workers with accompanying family members showed higher integration.

Conclusions:

Significant disparities exist in migrant workers' urban integration based on various factors.
Policies should target migrant workers with lower education, income, longer distances, shorter durations, and without family support.
Tailored interventions are necessary to enhance urban integration for diverse migrant worker groups.
