    Background:

    • Subacute thyroiditis diagnosis can be difficult in early stages.
    • Nonspecific and mild hyperthyroid symptoms often present a diagnostic challenge.

    Observation:

    • Three distinct case histories of subacute thyroiditis are presented.
    • Patients exhibited initial symptoms that mimicked other conditions.

    Findings:

    • Early diagnosis of subacute thyroiditis was achieved in all three cases.
    • Key diagnostic indicators were identified despite initial nonspecific symptoms.

    Implications:

    • Improved early diagnostic approaches for subacute thyroiditis are crucial.
    • Timely diagnosis can lead to prompt and appropriate patient management.
