Summary

Quantitative pupillometry using the Neurological Pupil index (NPi) can help screen for elevated intracranial pressure (ICP) in brain injury patients. This noninvasive tool aids clinical decisions by reliably ruling out high ICP, reducing the need for invasive monitoring.
