Labor induction in China: a nationwide survey

Labor induction in China occurred in 14.2% of deliveries, with higher rates in first-time mothers (18.4%) than those with prior births (10.2%). This study found labor induction did not increase adverse outcomes compared to prelabor cesarean delivery in low-risk women.
