The Relationship Between Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo and Vitamin D

Individuals with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV) have significantly lower vitamin D levels compared to healthy individuals. Vitamin D levels did not influence the specific types of vertigo experienced by BPPV patients.

- No significant association was found between vitamin D levels and the distribution of vertigo subtypes in BPPV patients.
Conclusions:
- Vitamin D deficiency is statistically significantly associated with Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo.
- Vitamin D levels do not appear to be a determining factor in the specific subtypes of BPPV observed in this study.
