Blood flow restriction (BFR) exercise using pneumatic tourniquets did not significantly alter blood cell counts, including CD34+ cells, white blood cells, platelets, and lymphocytes, compared to standard exercise. This suggests BFR does not change systemic cellular responses during aerobic exercise.
