Pattern and In-Hospital Mortality of Thoracoabdominal Injuries Associated with Motor Vehicle Accident-Related Head

Motor vehicle accidents causing head injuries (HI) with thoracoabdominal trauma have a high mortality rate, especially with posttraumatic brain lesions. Intensive care unit admission indicates a poor prognosis for these severe injuries.
