Summary

Accurate diagnosis of furcation involvement (FI) is crucial for multirooted teeth. Cone beam CT (CBCT) shows better reliability than intraoral radiographs (IOs) or orthopantomograms (OPGs) for detecting FI, though none are gold standards.
