Immunoglobulin A rheumatoid factor (IgA RF) has lower sensitivity for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) diagnosis than immunoglobulin M RF (IgM RF). Combining IgA RF with IgM RF and anti-citrullinated protein antibodies (ACPA) improves RA classification specificity but not sensitivity.
