The Stamey bladder neck suspension operation for stress incontinence and neurovesical dysfunction

Twelve patients with neurovesical bladder dysfunction and genuine stress incontinence were treated by the Stamey operation. The technique is described together with some minor modifications that we have found useful. Results have been encouraging and 11 of the 12 patients have been cured of incontinence.
