Urban and Rural Child Deaths from Motor Vehicle Crashes: United States, 2015-2019.

Child passenger restraint laws and proper restraint use significantly reduce motor vehicle crash deaths. Extending these laws to age 9 could further decrease fatalities, especially for Black and Hispanic children in rural areas.
