Abstract:
Sudden cardiac death is hypothesized to be one of the leading causes of mortality in peripartum cardiomyopathy. This case illustrates a patient who presented with cardiac arrest, and it discusses the importance of considering multiple causes of fulminant ventricular arrhythmias in the setting of decreased left ventricular function during the peripartum period.
