    Summary

    Thyroid hormones thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3) show distinct developmental patterns in ferrets, with T4 peaking before T3 in subadults. Testosterone levels in males exhibit a prominent early peak, later surpassed by adult levels.
