Dopaminergic, GABA-ergic and cholinergic interaction in the regulation of striatal acetylcholine concentration
Abstract:
Muscimol (2--5 mg/kg), amino-oxyacetic acid (50 mg/kg), and sodium di-n-propylacetate (400 mg/kg) significantly increased acetylcholine concentration in the stratium. These observations suggest that dopamiergic, GABA-ergic and cholinergic interaction regulate the concentration of acetylcholine in the stratium.
