Abnormal Genetic Testing in Males With Concomitant Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and Genital Malformation

Genital malformations in boys with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) are linked to a high rate of abnormal genetic testing results. Early identification of these malformations may help predict genetic disorders in children with NDDs.

- More severe phenotypic features correlate with increased genetic testing yield.
- Identifying genital malformations in infancy can guide surveillance and support genetic testing in NDD patients.
